Halloween is fast approaching and although I don’t consider it a “holiday” it is a fun time of year. I love to visit haunted houses, watch classic videos and of course dress up! When I was wandering around Walmart I passed the $5 video bin and look what I uncovered!
See that? It says “the scariest film of all time” Although I am an avid viewer of horror films and am known to laugh out loud because of the crowds reaction to “scary” parts, The Exorcist is the one film that made me run to my parents run to sleep when I was a kid. I was chatting with a friend of mine and he admitted that he once sat in the basement with a bowl of popcorn trying to watch it alone when we were college students and gave up. To appreciate this, you must understand that he is a BIG man that few would challenge but The Exorcist even threw him for a loop!
Seeing this movie (and adding it to my basket along with a DVD of 19 classic horror films) in Walmart inspired me to be creative. So, I present to you – VAMPIRE RENÉE!
I basically purchased all the makeup and accessories at Walmart for under $20. I had some items like mascara, foundation and eyeliner at home but the rest – Walmart! Check out my video to see how I put the entire look together.
I utilized this nifty little kit from Hard Candy to do my eyes – only $8.00 can you believe it?
